SW Design is a full service architecture and interior design office in Hong Kong founded by Stephanie Wong in 2013. SW Design engages in a diverse range of work, from new commercial and residential projects to interior renovations and feasibility studies. With each project we respond to the unique conditions that define the essence of the design problem including materiality, budget, sustainability, and constructability.
Stephanie Wong founded SW Design in Hong Kong in 2013. Stephanie received a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York City in 2003 and a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University in 1997. While in the United States, she was a project architect on a variety of projects for prestigious firms including Toshiko Mori, Joel Sanders and James Slade. After working for over 10 years in the United States, Stephanie relocated back to Hong Kong and established SWD. Being a Hong Kong native with education and work experience in the U.S. gives Stephanie a unique perspective on design within the local environment.
Adrian Wu joined SW Design as a Partner in 2016. Prior to joining SWD, he was an Associate at PDP London and Aedas in Hong Kong where he was the project architect on number of projects including Whitesands, a 28-house development for Swire Properties. He has also executed a diverse body of projects in the United States ranging from cultural centres and institutional buildings to commercial and high-end residential projects.
